1. Introduction

Listenscene is a product of Hevichay. Hevichay ("we", "our", "us") processes personal data when you use the Listenscene widget. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect during those interactions, how we use it, your rights, and how to contact us.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

The business whose website hosts the widget configures its AI assistant and is responsible for the content, instructions, and data it submits. Listenscene processes your interactions on that business's behalf. The business is typically the data controller and Hevichay acts as a data processor for widget conversations.

3. Data We Collect

When you use the Listenscene widget, we may collect:

• Widget visitor data: information you provide to access the widget, such as social sign-in profile data or an email address used for one-time password verification; plus IP address, browser and device information, session identifiers, and a device fingerprint hash used solely for abuse prevention.
• Audio, text, and conversation data: voice audio during your call (temporarily), transcripts, AI-generated summaries, and metadata such as call timestamps and duration.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and security logs needed to operate the widget and protect it against abuse.

4. How We Use Your Data

• Provide the voice widget and connect you with the business's AI assistant
• Verify your identity when the business requires sign-in or one-time password authentication
• Process call audio and generate transcripts and summaries
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Operate the widget reliably and troubleshoot technical issues affecting your session

5. AI Processing

Your voice and text inputs may be processed by automated systems, including speech recognition and large language models, to generate responses, transcripts, and summaries. The business chooses how its assistant behaves and what information it can access. We do not use your conversation content to train public AI models unless explicitly agreed in writing with the business.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the bases of legitimate interests (operating the widget securely), performance of a service requested by you or the business hosting the widget, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required, for example, when you choose social sign-in or submit your email for verification.

7. Data Retention

Audio recordings are deleted within 24 hours of call completion unless a longer period is required by law or configured by the business. Transcripts and summaries are retained according to the business's Listenscene settings while its account is active, or for up to 2 years unless deleted earlier. Verification data such as one-time password emails is kept only as long as needed to complete authentication.

8. Third-Party Processors

Listenscene uses trusted third-party service providers for infrastructure, artificial intelligence, speech processing, and other operational functions. A current list of subprocessors is available upon request.

9. Cookies

The widget may use strictly necessary session cookies when you sign in or verify your identity. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies in the widget. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability in a machine-readable format
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored data, IP blocklisting, rate limiting, and call duration caps. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

The widget is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the widget. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post significant changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
